1. The Trevor Prescott Fund is named after the late Trevor Prescott
    a) the Scholarship shall be open to all those who wish to obtain experience, knowledge or skill in any field of endeavour approved by the Trustees;

    b) There shall be no prescribed qualifications, academic or otherwise.;

    c)As a general rule, the Scholarship shall not be granted to supplement an award from another source and shall not be held concurrently with any other award, whether granted before or after the grant of the scholarship;
    d) no preference shall be given to Freemasons or members of the families of Freemasons.

  2. In awarding the Scholarship regard shall be had to the following criteria;
    a) The youth of the applicants (provided however that, except in special circumstances, no award shall be granted to an applicant under the age of 18 years)

    b) The quality of the applicant;

    c) The way in which and the extent to which the endeavour i.e likely to benefit the applicant and the community, and;

    d) The lack of opportunity available to the applicants to pursue the endeavour by any other means, or the degree of difficulty otherwise involved.
